Box Elder County has an opening for a full-time Accountant. The Accountant performs technical working level professional accounting duties assisting the County Auditor in auditing, paying claims, examining books and accounts of various county offices as State Laws dictate. Assists Auditor in preparation of annual budget and providing offices with monthly financial statements.
Those interested in this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and 2-4 years of experience closely related to the job duties. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. Applicant must have a valid Utah Class D Driver’s License, be over 18 years old, must be able to lift 30 pounds, must be bondable and must be willing to work flexible hours. Applicant must be able to provide unofficial copy of transcript for interview process.
