Administrative Secretary

Box Elder County has an opening for a full-time Administrative Secretary for the Commission Officer. The Administrative Secretary works under the general supervision of the County Commission, performs staff duties and aids the Commission in the management and administration of County services in a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties.

Those interested in this position must be a high school or equivalent with 2 years of college with course work in public and business procedures, business administration, general education or a related field of study; and have 3 years of practical experience in the public or business administration or related fields of local government, with supervisory experience preferred; or any combination of education and experience.  Applicant must pass background check, pre-employment drug screen and reference check.
