Full-Time Appraiser Trainee
Works with County Appraisers to inspect, classify, value and appraise real property including residential, agricultural and personal property. Completes computer input of data and processing of documentations as needed in creating assessment roll using standard industry-accepted methods. Assists with overall functions of the Assessor’s Office.
Attend 75 hours of required Core Curriculum Education, obtain Appraiser Trainee designation within 12 months of hire. Submit Social Security Card Verification and finger prints for certification. Become licensed Appraiser within 28 months following Trainee designation.
Minimum Associates Degree, advanced computer skills, communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Work with accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to attend educational classes out of town.
Possess and maintain a valid State of Utah drivers license. Have a good knowledge of the layout of Uintah County properties.
