Full-Time Record’s Officer

Job Description
FULL TIME / WITH BENEFITS
$14.67-15.95 Depending on Experience
40 hr. per week Monday – Friday
Performs a variety of full performance level complex clerical and routine technical duties related to developing, implementing, and monitoring formal document maintenance and records retention programs as prescribed by law, policy and practice.
Develops, implements, and monitors Washington County’s Records Management Program to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Government Records Access & Management Act (UCA 63-2-101 thru 63-2-1001); establishes guidelines and practices related to document preservation, archiving, and destruction; resolves technical issues; participates in needs analysis with department managers and facilitates alternative solutions to records retention needs in coordination with Utah State Archives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and Experience:
A. Graduation from high school with course background in general business:
AND
B. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience performing above or similar duties:
OR
C. An equivalent combination of education and experience
