Part-Time Volunteer Victim Coordinator
Box Elder County has an opening for a part-time Court Volunteer Victim Coordinator. The part-time Court Volunteer Victim Coordinator will coordinate and oversee victim advocate volunteers, interns and practicum student’s activities, including recruitment, training and scheduling. The Court Volunteer Victim Coordinator will also supervise and provide direction to, coordination and consultation for all volunteer functions within the office. This is a grant-funded position. The current grant is funded from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019 with funding subject to renewal.
Those interested in this position must be a high school or equivalent with 6 months of victim assistance experience or a combination of both. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. Applicant must have a valid Utah Class D Driver’s License, be over 18 years old, be able to work effectively with victims in a mature, non-judgmental and sensitive matter; and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
